Welcome to EveryoneBelongsHere

This resource was created and is maintained by a coalition of healthcare providers in the Bay Area to support healthcare professionals working with immigrant families.

Our goal is to provide an accurate, up to date and easily navigable source of information on immigration policy, its effects on health, and best practices for those working in healthcare.

All content has been carefully reviewed by our team and includes direct links to trusted resources. This site is a work in progress, and we welcome your feedback and suggestions for improving our content. Thank you for being part of this effort.

This site does not provide legal advice.  Please consult with lawyers for legal advice.

Everyone Belongs Here Symposium
It's Happening! 9/19/25

Everyone Belongs Here:

an Immigrant Health Justice Symposium

September 19, 2025
UC Law SF - 198 McAllister Street - San Francisco, CA
9AM - 5PM

Sponsors: UCSF Health and Human Rights Initiative, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Center of Excellence of Immigrant Child Health and Wellbeing, UC Berkeley School of Public Health

Join a community of healthcare practitioners working alongside legal service and community organizations for a full day of learning, collaboration, and celebration of our shared commitment to health and inclusion. Partners include the Center for Cultural Power and many legal, policy, and community-based organizations.

The day is structured to maximize opportunities for connection and inspiration, and will feature interactive workshops focused on meeting clients' health and legal needs in the immigration process. In partnership with the Center for Cultural Power, we will also offer space for networking, healing arts, and creative expression.

Space for this event is limited, and registration will close on September 8th, 2025. We have had overwhelming interest. If we move to a waitlist, we will prioritize attendance of those working directly with immigrants.

Advocacy Corner

Before August 13, PLEASE submit public comments to oppose the latest HHS move to deny Head Start, healthcare and other services to immigrants! Even a brief note in opposition is worthwhile!

This site has great resources (including a training from which a recording will soon be available) on how to submit public comment about the latest HHS move to try to exclude immigrants from healthcare.
